Hi,
I have a pair of Tritton AXPC 5.1 headphones with the latest Vista x64 driver. I configured windows sound so that 5.1 speakers are used. When I perform a speaker test in the Sound Playback device list, each speaker works great. The only problem is, besides Windows sound test no other surround sound application seems to recognize any speakers besides the two front ones. I contacted the manufacturer a week ago, but they never got back to me. Doom 3, for example, claims I do not have surround sound speakers attached to my system even though windows claims that I do and plays each channel correctly. I muted the front speakers when I tested to ensure that sound came out of the back ones during the test and I wasn't just confused. I greatly appreciate any help.
