They do a good job taking advantage of the short term memory exhibited by todays conservative voter. Those people honestly don't remember all the lies about the virus over the past year.
First it was fake. Then it was real but couldnt get out of China. Then it got out of China but couldnt get into America. Then it got into America but wouldnt make anyone sick. Then it made people sick but it wouldnt spread and couldnt kill anyone anyway. Then it spread and killed people but the deaths would be very minimal. Then it was bullshit about masks. Then lies about quarantine. Then more lies about vaccines.
Now its lies about who needs the vaccine and who's gonna get it and when.

God damn. In a sane world people that stupid would just die off.

That is a retirement community Del Webb 55+ Lakewood Ranch. I don't see the issue as long as they stick to the current level guidelines. Have they actively withheld vaccines from poor areas in order to cater to the more wealthy?

By this they seem to be doing well in their vaccine rates:

Doses given 6.07 Million

Fully Vaccinated 2.11Million

% of Population fully vaccinated 9.83%

Governor DeSantis has expanded the groups eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine in Florida. Beginning March 3, eligible residents include:
  • Long-term care facility residents and staff;
  • Persons 65 years of age and older;
  • Persons under 65 deemed medically vulnerable by a physician;
  • Health care personnel with direct patient contact;
  • K-12 school employees 50 years of age and older;
  • Sworn law enforcement officers 50 years of age and older; and
  • Firefighters 50 years of age and older

You don`t see the issue??
"The more we learn about Governor DeSantis's abuse of power, the worse it is. We already knew the Governor was directing vaccines to his favored donors and constituents," Joshua Karp, a spokesperson for Crist's reelection told CNN in a statement. "Now it's clear that the Governor's team handpicked vaccine recipients, bypassing a county's random selection process -- for political gain -- denying seniors and others the vaccines they need. The authorities must investigate this abuse of power immediately."

C`mon dude you can`t be that obtuse......

Sheesh, that is a LOT of taxpayer money wasted on a liberal hoax.

For a swing state, its amazing how Florida always seems to manage to elect the shittiest, trumpiest republicans.
Florida went to shit when Scott won the Governorship. Not sure what happened. But, the good news is that Christ is back as a congress person, and it looks like he's going to run against DeSantis.

I don't know why DeSantis has a ghost of chance to be reelected as governor of "The Sunshine State." His aspect to me is incredibly dark and depressing. I see no hint of sunshine in his face.

My mom usually votes conservative, and I found a recent discussion interesting. The Lt. Governor of Alabama was pushing the Governor for a full re-open -- similar to Texas and Mississippi -- and my mom's response was pretty much, "Why are they trying to kill me?" I don't know if it will be an eye-opening event for her (and maybe some others), but it will be interesting to see.

Of course you wouldn't. Why make the rich travel to another area to get vaccinated vs putting poor people in that position who may not have the means or can't afford to take time off their jobs.

BTW - What about this? $250,000 can buy you vaccine access

Wanna bet? These trumpanzees will require a re-write of psychiatric text books as to how fucked up the simian mind can become.

One item he left off his list, was "reside in an affluent zip code".
