My GTX275 does a WU in about 26 hours.
Came home from taking my daughter to her swim lesson and my fx8120 was running at 73*C!!!
I think the antec kuhler 620 I have is starting to fail. Pulled it and the radiator was a little dusty, but not to the point where it should allow the cpu to get that hot.
Installed a 212+ that I had sitting around and it is now running a cool 42*C and it also 400mhz faster.
Slightly different fan configuration. I had 2 of the cougar pwm fans on the 620 radiator in a push/pull and 2 500rpm scythe as top of the case for intakes intakes (in addition to 2 yate loon as front intakes).
Now I have the stock CM fans in a push/pull for the 212+ and the 2 cougars as top intake. A lot more power on the top intake, but there is no way that accounts for the temperature difference.
Machine is noticeably louder but I can live with that.
Oh and my video card is now at 62*C versus the 65*C it was running before (attributed to the stronger intake fans).
Total down time was about an hour. Hopefully the increased CPU speed makes up for the downtime.

Good point. At a minimum we seem to be holding even with them.
I have 2 machines running 1055T's. Different mobo's, but the same processor.
One is overclocked to 3.5 and one is overclocked to only 3.2. The fast cpu is on a much weaker mobo by the way (both gigabyte boards).
Both machines started the race within a few minutes of each other.
This morning I noticed windows once again did a system update restart on me on the slower of the 2 machines. Was only down for an hour before I noticed.
Checked the 3.5ghz machine to make sure the windows updates were completed (manually did them to prevent a system restart in the middle of the night).
The 3.5ghz machine is some 58% done on the cpu units whilst the 3.2ghz machine was only at 38% or so.
Amazing the difference that 300mhz has made over the course of 4-5 days. I got a little frustrated and bumped the 3.2 machine up to around 3.36ghz this morning. Tonight I'll emulate the 3.5ghz machine bios settings to get it back up to speed.

We're more than halfway done now. Looks like all teams are adding power - or maybe it's just the CPU work coming in.
Edit: If your first CPU WUs aren't done yet, you might want to turn off getting more GFN CPU work, either by unchecking CPU work or by selecting a different subproject on PrimeGrid. For those running without GPUs and who may not have access to their computers all the time, selecting the PPS LLR project for the CPU might help your GFN results return sooner.
I've got 4 WUs sitting around 40% progress and around 98 hours elapsed.
It is getting tight. Hopefully these will make it by the deadline.
After nearly 160 hours, I'll be turning in three tonight on the main rig. Got at least another 1 that might make it in the next 3 days.

Looks like we're still matching EVGA.
And on 34% with 90 hours is mine which should be turned in just before the conclusion of the challenge, I have calculated that it should be 15 seconds before the end. I have checked and double checked that the battery will not give out when there is a blackout and the battery will last about 35 minutes before giving out. Anyway very tight race. I guess my processors are slower being laptops.

I don't know how to calculate ppd so I just input your scores from when I saw them and then subtract that with the previous day. Hope that solves confusion as to the ppd score

I submitted 4 cpu work units yesterday. Probably could've gotten 2-3 per core done during the race, but decided to use cpu for other things. Besides that its just my gtx460 slowly churning thru these numbers

Same here, I'm thankful I was able to return 3 WUs in time. I was getting nervous that my i7 wasn't fast enough for the competition. I have noticed that my two Sandy Bridge work laptops were not much faster (go figure...) at about 130 hours/WU.
Yes! We are still ahead! I am going to look at EVGA forums and see what their reactions are.
