Katie Holmes can break out the noisemakers: She and Tom Cruise are parents.

Cruise and Holmes "joyously welcomed" a baby girl, named Suri, on Tuesday, a statement from the couple's publicist said. Mother and daughter are said to be "doing well." Father is presumably couch-hopping happy.

Suri, the statement explained, means "princess" in Hebrew and "red rose" in Persian. The girl weighed in at 7 pounds, 7 ounces, and registered 20 inches in length.

well thats if you dont subscribe to the conspiracy theory whis is that she had the babay months ago and its actually another mans baby her ex-bf i believe they said...she has just been pretending to be pregnant so the timeline adds up with when she and tom met...

apparently all this is just so he has a cover for his fruity behavior...ala whacko jacko

apparently tom and his scientology advisors interviewed women for the position of his wife and mother of his baby...at their headquarters where they signed a contract etc.

Yeah, he's really that small. I remember when Nicole Kidman did an interview not long after she and Tom got divorced. Jay remarked that she can finally start wearing high heels again
