Not sure the cat "likes" the water, but seems interested in looking down into it and tolerates that it has to do that from the surfboard.

Either way, pretty cool. My cat would never handle that much water.

cats aren't really so much more adverse to water than dogs. The reason so many hate water is much how most cats hate being held still, their nails clipped, etc due to lack of socialization like a dog gets.

Many dogs get bathed regularly, many cats can go a lifetime without ever getting a bath.

Some breeds are more water loving than others.

My cat must just be a water-hating breed. He's usually very calm and affectionate, and acts more like a dog than a stereotypical cat, but he goes completely batshit crazy if he gets in standing water.
