Bah, I was disappointed. Based on the title, I was expecting to see something nasty...

Basically, you see a surfer wipe out...the next scene, they show him face-down on the ground and they're applying compresses to a huge gash on his calf. I've definitely seen much worse...however, I AM glad it wasn't me...it looked like it hurt like hell...

OK, thanks for watching it. now i'll watch it !

when the motorcycle accident happened, all i could think
of to do was, grab a beach towel and hold over one of
the people who was in the motorcycle accident. seeing
as how they were laying on the pavement on a hot day
in August.

then i looked down and saw the woman's arm. free
anatomy lesson.

then people were helping the woman so i gave the
guy some shade.

then they asked to borrow the towel, to wrap the
woman's arm in.

i didn't want to see something like that again.

He was stabbed by either the fin or the nose of the board. The worst part of it is that they were in puerto escondido in oaxaca mexico. Not the best place to be when you have a serious injury like this. That break there is no joke and has f'd up many a surfer.

Growing up I had a nasty wipeout (nothing like this of course, mine happened in Florida) when my fin cut through my bottom lip completely and knocked out a couple of teeth. Luckily it didnt knock me out and i was surfing at a air force base.

On a side note, I grew up surfing with todd morcom one of the guys in that video. He calls that break his second home because it gets swell so often and the conditions are so good.
