Yup, people are stupid.

On a vaguely related topic, I got my first eBay phishing e-mail yesterday. It was sent to the right account and looked legit, which gave me a thrill since it said my account had been hacked, but after checking the link in the e-mail it was pretty obvious.

The users number is likely made up, or at the very least, not the number of users through suprnova.com. There aren't 6 million people that can get BitTorrent working correctly, let alone know about this site and be stupid enough to pay for it.
