It seems that every time someone tries to post a thread about voter fraud it seldom if ever ends up being about in person voting fraud on election days. Just like the Heritage Foundation database that tries to play the shell game with many different types of fraud which, again, seldom have anything to do with actual in-person voter fraud but they sure try and sell it as such... and idiots buy it hook, line, and sinker...

This is why I typically say Voter ID should be approached from the angle of “no government payments without Photo ID.” Vote away without ID but it means no welfare or Social Security payments since we can’t validate your identity for fraud protection. If that spurs you to get an ID you can use to vote then great.

Since we have other perfectly adequate ways of identifying people without photo ID let’s just go the route of neither. How about that instead?

Of course it has nothing to do with in-person voter fraud as the purpose of voter ID is not to prevent voter fraud. The purpose is to suppress turnout among groups that don’t vote for Republicans.

I mean the people passing these laws have said as much, repeatedly.
