Supreme commander view distance

Any way to increase this? Or a cheat or something? I only mess with the AI but most of the time i cant see what i kill or what kills me, it really sucks. My graphics settings are medium which means i can hardly see most projectiles anyway.

Ummm, you are aware of the fact the scroll wheel zooms in and out? Just checking the basics first.

Yes, and i have omni rader, i want to see stuff destroyed rather than simply grey/colored shapes. A view the whole map cheat would be great.

you could mod the commander to have a massive view distance, that would probably accomplish what you are trying to do. here's a guide:

you would want to set the "vision" radius to some crazy high number

beware this may tank your performance though.
Thats probably true. I have a powerful quad-core system and a Radeon 4890. When the map gets full of units my system drags. I suspect I could get away with massive view distance if I cut back on the detail.

Awesome thanks guys. I actually found an option for "no fog of war" in the skirmish menu, just what i needed, i found this in forged alliance i dont know if it was there in the original supcom.

Performance does drag a bit... on low... on my 8600mGT DDR2 🙁 Bah ill just stick to blowing up shapes until my new lappy arrives with its HD 5850
