Actually, I don't think so. It may be a state-by-state thing. But after further inspection of the video it just looks like the car doesn't have nitrous. It may be turbo charged and launched at high RPMs. (That's one sick launch.)

You have to click on The reliant over on the left to read about. NO nitrous although he has used it in the past back when he was still running in the 11s or 12s. He recently blew the engine in it on the dyno.
