Same here. Snow and ice would scare the fvck out me while driving. I already hydroplaned once and the experience of total loss of control was scary enough. I suppose for Northern drivers they get used to it but it seems so dangerous to me. Although I was raised up North I wasn't of driving age then.

What an idiot. The last generation Supras are my hearts desire, for a GT type car.
You would think the owner might have put winter tires/wheels on it........:disgust:

Eh, it's not that bad once you get some experience with it. I drove a RWD sports car in high school - now those are fun on snow. Of course it helps not to be a dumbass.

Watching some people drive in snow, you'd think it's like flying the space shuttle or something. Snow and ice are slippery so you have to turn, accelerate and stop slower. But even where it snows, people drive like they are brain damaged. I go to school in Iowa and it recently snowed a whole bunch here. Now this isn't California where it never snows, it snows quite often in Iowa. But I go out to the parking lot and see all sorts of people getting stuck pulling out of their spaces. So what do they do? They floor it and their tires spin like mad and they go nowhere. Shocking!

Also, watching the cool guys with their sports cars or ricers continue to drive like idiots because sliding is cool and then crashing is funny beyond belief. Owned indeed.

I love driving in snow... rear wheel drive pathfinder. I rarely put it in 4wd, opting instead for the ability to do u-turns simply by shifting the steering wheel to the left slightly, and gunning it. (you can completely turn around without ever leaving your lane if you're good and the road has enough snow on it) Turning at corners is similar... I approach them sideways, ready to go forward around the corner.
