Oh, what kind of bull$hit was that? I'm a Realist; there is no doubt this car is very fast. However, that bunch of twisty hills was a far cry from a standard 1/4-mile dragstrip (1,320 feet for those of you who don't know how many feet a quarter (25%) of a mile is...).

Yeah, the car is fast...faster than my motorcycle..I can tell that just by watching the damn thing launch. However, you say "7.82 pass". To me, that means a quarter mile in just under eight seconds. Not on that road, buddy.

I don't think you can call that a Supra anymore. I doubt there's a stock part on that entire car.

That's a great run, though.

Thank you. Tube chassis. Fiberglass body. Sounds like a V-8...(sacrilege!!!!!!!! in this car...must be the hip-kid music blasting in the background to hide the lame-o run)

That thing is as much a supra as those 2000 hp drag cars with the camaro shells on them are camaros.

<< d00d it has like 14,000-15,000 horsepower stock V8 4.7l ;) >>

Man, am I glad you "winked." Else, I'd be concerned that you were unaware that the Supra in any guise (Turbo or non) comes with a L-6. Straight-six to you non-mechancial types) and not a V8.

I am an equal opportunity drag-racer; it's not about American Vs. Japanese Vs. European. It's all about power to weight ratio.

Hell, right now, in Europe, they have 1800-pound street-legal Austin (BMW?) Minis that do the quarter in 13-flat. That's pretty darn fast for a car with a sub-2.0liter, non-turbo motor. :)
