We had an extremely intense hail storm yesterday evening. The hail was not large, only about 3/8" in diameter, but it was so intense that we could not see out the windows. It only lasted a minute, two at the most. The ground was completely covered when it ended. I have never in my life seen hail come down with that intensity.

This morning we woke up to find that tons of tiny branches had been stripped from the trees and the driveway, walkway and the lawn area were littered with them. I told my wife that if the trees had leafed out that there would more than likely have been none left. They would have all been stripped off.

We have like 15cm of snow on the way. I so can't wait for summer. Tired of shoveling.

We did get a break though, it's been really hot out and lot of snow has been melting.

Downside is it screwed up my ramps leading to the snow hill so it will be harder to push the snow there. I don't like to push it just in front of the hill because then I start to run out of room.

I'm glad I live in NorCal. May get droughts now and then, but I lived in Dez Moinz Io-weird for a year and summer rain sucks. As soon as the sun comes out it gets all hot and sticky. I'll take brown grass vs. Midwest humidity.
