So apparently, last week, I agreed to come in at 10am today and help out. I forgot about that. I also left my phone in the car, which i just retrieved to find 2 voice mails and 5 missed calls from various peoples. I guess I got to sack up and make a call, let them know I'm fine and apologize for not showing. I just... don't want to yet.

I can't even blame it on the drugs, because I don't smoke pot. Weak. Anyways, made the call, told the truth, they were forgiving. All is well? And to think, I could be making $16 an hour right now....

No. Nothing garners more respect than the truth.

Saying you fucked up to your boss will earn you much more in the long run than some excuse that he has to wonder whether its true or not.
