Can anybody confirm what processors will work on the Epox 8KTA3?

Yes, I have looked at Epox's list, which says it can take up to the 1.4 TBird.

That list, however, shows an old BIOS rev and the newest BIOS rev says it includes a change to show XP and MP processors.

So does anybody know if you can put an XP on one of these?

btw: not + or pro, just regular 8KTA3

I've seen postings on the alt.comp.periphs.mainboards.epox newsgroup from users stating that they've successfully used XP processors on the 8KTA3 with the latest BIOS. Check the archives of that newsgroup on groups.google.com for more information...

The latest couple BIOS revisions included enhancements to support the XP processor, so obviously Epox intends it to work. I just think they're holding off on officially claiming compatibility until they fully test the combination. If that ever happens, that is...
