My brother just got sent to Iraq two weeks ago. He is stationed just outside of Fallujah at a base. A couple of things surprised me about his situation.
One the cameo they gave him is forest cameo and not desert cameo, he said "someone messed up the order and it was to expensive to fix".
Two is how many supplies they lack as far as things we might take for granted, like socks, a place to sit (besides the ground), chap stick, and flee powder just to name a few things he has asked for us to send.
My question is what do you think we should be supplying our troops with. Do you think it the soldier?s responsibility to write home and ask his family to send the things he need or should the government be supplying these things? I have no problem sending anything he asks for but what about the soldier who don?t have anyone to send them anything?
