Support our Troops

I am going to try and stay out of the arguments about right vs wrong in the new war with Iraq, but I just wanted to say something. I think that regardless of your views on the war, you need to support our troops and their families that are still at home. I think the greatest tragedy of Vietnam was that our brave troops returned for a horrible war to be spit upon by the very people they swore their lives to defend. I hope that no one here, regardless of your views, is going to participate in such idiotic behavior. Our troops and their families did not make this decision, and they need our support. I will personally pound anyone who I see bandmouthing our soldiers in Iraq. You have the freedom to have your own opinions (in a large part, because of these soldiers), but taking out your frustrations on people who are simply doing their (very dangerous) jobs is wrong, ignorant, and un-American.

Please, be worthy of these brave men and women, support our troops and their families.

The greatest tragedy of Vietnam was that it happened, period.

Definitely support our troops. My small office sent them 4 HUGE boxes of stuff today, food, candy, magazines, batteries, baby wipes, books, you name it.
