I've been eyeing this car for the last 4 moths, ever since I moved into the apartment. I always saw it at the front of the complex, and it is exactly the luxury car I have always wanted. A pearl-white Cadillac Eldorado.
I came home one night - and there was a for sale sign on it! $5500.00.
In a nutshell: after a little negotiation, I got it for $4800.00.
And it only has 64k miles on it!
Bluebook was 4300.00, but I have NEVER seen a car this clean, or well taken car of. After I bought it I did a search on Autotrader.com for 1992 Caddy Eldorado's w/less than 75k in the entire US, and the lowest I found was 6500.00. It's a 2 owner car, and the most recent owner is a professional car detailer by trade.
It doesn't have the Northstar, ( ) it has a 4.9l in it, 200HP, 275tq. It's no TR, but it's sufficient for daily driving. It has a new A/C compressor, water pump, front brakes and more, most done by the local Cadillas dealer. The only things wrong with it is is needs 1 motor mount (mechanic broke it installing the new A/C compressor), someone tore up the passenger side door handle assembly trying to break in, and when they couldn't get in, the broke off the radio antenna, other than that it's PERFECT!
