Hello,

I built a windows 2000 server on a Supermicro PDSG4 motherboard using a SATA hardrive.

Everything was fine until I installed a SCSI Sony Storstation tape drive. After installing the drivers and rebooting, I received a blue screen and innacessible boot device error. After another reboot it still cant find the boot drive. (doesn't get to blue screen)

It seems windows wants to boot off the Tape device now. I unplugged the scsi tape drive and everything boots fine now.

I couldn't find anything in the BIOS

What am I missing?

Nevermind...seems that changing the jumper setting on the scsi tape drive solved it.

My old server didnt seem to have this issue though.....oh well it worked
