SuperMicro P6DGU

I have an old SuperMicro P6DGU board. This computer which was used as a Novell server back in the early 2000s. I need to buy another power supply for it. In the past, I think I used the PowerMan FSP300 power supply because it comes with the second power connector.

According to the SuperMicro user manual, this board has an ATX power (J32) and a secondary power PWR_SEC (J36) which I think the PowerMan FSP300 comes with it. I want to make sure I am buying the correct type of power supply for this particular motherboard.

Unless there is another power supply similar to PowerMan FSP300, I may go with PowerMan.

Where are you planning on getting that power supply from? Most of the sites/listings I see are selling "compatible" power supplies and none of them specify what plugs the power supply has. It's probably going to be a bit of a crap shoot.

I also have to ask what the need to keep that ancient box running is.
