Supermicro P6DGE goes nowhere

I bought a Supermicro P6DGE revision 3 and dual 1 Ghz slot 1 P3s

Everything is seemingly assembled right, I have tried different processors, vid card, RAM, cleared the CMOS and the case/powersupply are good.

I hit the power button, the fans spin up, the light on the motherboard turns on, no beeps, no floppy seeks, no vid signal.

anyone had similar experience?

the 1 Ghz procs have the same CPUID and the other proc that I tested it with was a PII 400.

help?

What you need to do is reconfigure the coaxial partition with the variance of the HD, Thus enabling the router to bipass the transmition mainframe..
fairly easy if you ask me.

Don't take me for a joke, i'm no comedian. To many mental problems got me snorting coke and smoking weed again.

Sounds like the mobo is possibly bad. If it's not grounding somewhere, it should post with just cpu, ram and video card. Maybe try taking it out and put on cardboard to make sure it's not grounding out. In RARE cases, I've actually seen the battery keep a board from posting. :Q

Recheck all the jumpers too and try clearing the cmos jumper.

If you get it going, please consider joining TeAm AnandTech! That's a nice rig! 🙂
