What are people's feelings about the SuperMicro C2SBE. I am looking for a stable workstation and am not happy with Asus BIOS updates that are on their site one minute and gone the next, along with my motherboard.

I had a P4SAA that I gave 4 years later to a friend. He use it daily, like I did since now 1 year. It never froze in 4 years and my friend tell me the same thing. I had a coleague who bought one at the same time 5 years ago and tell me the same thing. I build with all kinds of boards as Micronics, soyo (in the past),MSI,Asus,Gigabyte, intel, epox, abit, tyan(dual process), supermicro etc. since almost 20 years. Supermicro define stability. You think your board is rock solid, right... Now imagine that your board is rock solid until it is totally outdated and you have to put it away and it could keep going and going and ...

Thank you. That is what I am looking for. All this madness for speed and overclocking seems meaningless if the system can't work on a reboot. I want to support a company who's BIOS developers take their time to get it right. I think that is where Asus is letting everyone down.
