I have the older Supermicro 750a case with the older power supply that was only 2.01 compliant. My question is, will the new 2.03 mobo's fit? I know that I would have to replace the power supply but I am not sure if the rest of the case will handle a p4/athlon 2.03 mother board. Thanks for your answers.

I think the Pentium 4 spec needs

1) a 2.03 spec powersupply with the additional 4 pin motherboard power connector

2) The motherboard tray has to have the special mounting points to support the CPU.

I know on the case originally manufactured by Addtronics (Addtronics 7896A), you can buy a replacement motherboard tray for $30.

There were two versions of the SC750A; One had a slide in/out motherboard tray and the other had one which was fixed.

If your SC750A motherboard tray can slide in and out, you want to check with www.addtronics.com to see if the part is interchangable

That was gonna be my recommendation :) I have the 7890A ;) Well, I'd try and match up the existing mobo tray with the new mobo and see if it fits. Most trays usually have multiple "spacer" configs, which you can use to your advantage. If they dont fit, you can always epoxy the spacer to the tray instead of having it "snap" into it.
