supermarket express lane

You have 12 items (duplicates of a few like sodas). The other lines are a ridiculous wait while the express lane has 1 or 2 people coming every so often and they get served quick. Do you make a dash for the express lane?

if I had 20 items i would do it. I also park in the "customer with child parking" because there always open. My thoughts are them fat ass kids need to get some walking in. Also im a twat

I had a girl tell me "Sir, you have 11 items....it says 10 or less." then I picked up the pack of gum from the counter, stuck it in my pocket and said "Looks like 10 to me babe.".

i don't care if peopld do it either. though when someone goes to the express lane with a full cart i make fun of htem. i will point them out to my kid and say something like "this is why school is so important! this person can't read or count!" i will ask her what the sign says wich since now she can read she does it and out loud. i then point to the items and say "now that is more then 20 items. do you think she can't read or can't count? and thats why we stay in school!"

something like that. usually does the trick.

had one old lady behind me say "what a smart little girl! (as the lady in front pulls out a IL link card) She won't end up on walfare!" i about died

when i worked at walmart we could only remind people that it is a express lane and 20 items or less. but we couldnt do anything about it.

i hate hte self checkout. its always full with the one person with a full cart and has no fricken clue what they are sopposed to do.

they check the weight of the stuff in the bags and sometimes the measuring is off, and it can be a real pain in the ass

11, 12, 13 or maybe 14 or even 15 I'd go for it, so would any other reasonable person. More than that I'd either wait or drop a couple of items and then hit the express.
