Superman is on TVLAND right now. Superman is played by George Reeves. Is that Christopher Reeves father or just a major coincidence?

No. I believe his name was actually George Reeve, not Reeves, and they are unrelated.

EDIT: I guess he IS George Reeves, but Christopher is Reeve, and they definitely are unrelated.
