Interesting to see how much of it will be from the comic books and how much of it will be from the Animated Series.

Absolutely nothing will be from the animated series. It's not set in the Timmverse/DCAU.

I wonder how far after it goes. I remember reading some of my brother's issues from after the death and it was so confusing with all those new Superman types emerging.

I like the choice of Alec Baldwin as the voice of Superman. However, as much as I think the choice of James Marsters to voice Luthor is pretty damn good, Clancy Brown will always be the best Luthor IMHO.

You're right. Typo on my part. Don't know why the hell I typed Alec instead of Adam when I was thinking Adam from the beginning.

They are using the art style from the animated series. Bald Luthor.

Well, from what I could see at the end of the trailer, Superman's hair was longer than during the Doomsday fight. I have all of the Return of the Supermen comics and his hair was long like that after he came back. I'm guessing that they'll skip around on the story a bit and either briefly cover everything or skip over some things. On the other hand, it might actually take place after he's come back to life and he and Lois might be remembering the fight? I'm just throwing out ideas but it does look pretty cool. That graphic novel of "Death of Superman" was excellent. It's a great read for those who haven't checked it out.
