My friend and I were talking and suddenly the topic of superheroes came up.Who is the coolest superhero? Or mutant? Either one.We came up with Magneto, Phoenix, Nightcrawler, and Iceman.

Also, we were talking about Batman. Does anyone think Batman can beat any superhero, such as Spider-man, Superman? Any of those? Or does he just suck since he does not have any super "powers"?

Batman would use kryptonite vs superman. Well, at least he did always keep some spare on him just in case in the justice league 🙂

Here's my reasoning:

In many superhero comics, the evil (or "bad") guy usually has some superweapon to destroy the planet, enslave the human race, or something to that extent. Now, I can think of only one person with that much power: the President of the United States. The USA has enough nukes to completely destroy every major population centre and irridate the rest of the planet. So I guess George W. Bush is the evil guy.

And, superheroes are supposed to be the ones defeating the bad guys, right? So I guess those would be the terrorists, valiantly trying to take down the evil American empire.

Terrorists == Superheroes!

Batman is a totally different topic. He is a regular hero, not a superhero. No he would not have a chance against any real superhero. He could be an even match for some X-Men. A more likely comparison would be Batman vs. Chuck Norris or Jack Bauer.

 
Batman is probably the most resourceful of any superhero, and could take on anyone if he has time to prepare. He'd be hard pressed to fight anyone with powers if he gets surprised though.

Superman is the man! He's the complete opposite of Batman though- he can take on anything on the spur of the moment, but if you plan something out you have a chance of outsmarting and defeating him.

Cool contrast, eh?
 
Superman would kick any other superhero's ass. Batman ain't got nothing on him since he's only human.

Wolverine is the one with the coolest past and probably my favorite character

I think the coolest is Wolverine and spider-man.

Batman has beat spider-man in a few fights. also when it came down to Batman vs Superman batman has won nearly every fight. While batman does not have any "powers" he is a high skilled fighter and amazing luck. oh and he does not fight fair so that helps.

yeap. given time batman can (and has) beat nearly everyone. hell he has taken out superman a number of times.
 
Maybe it's me, but I don't really consider any of the X-Men "Superheroes". They are just outcasted people trying to make it while not harming others.

At least Batman, Superman, Spiderman are out there with the intent of saving people. With all that said, Batman is still a favorite.

Actually, I believe that Wonder Woman has given Supes a run for his money more than once........and she's waaaaay hotter!! :heart:

If you're going for a kryptonian, why not Supergirl? Again, hotter than Superman! :heart:

Once you get beyond the whole invincible except for kryptonite thing, I'd have to agree that Wolverine is pretty bad-ass. Look, he was able to withstand Jean Gray/Phoenix's powers, wasn't he? And she was tearing folks down to their component sub-atomic particles!! Besides, he wouldn't put up with no mutha-fvckin snakes on no plane!! 😉
 
What about Dare Devil. Ben Afflec as a blind super hero, I thought that movie was funny as hell.

What will it be next, the Amazing Quadriplegic. Or Cerebral Palsy Man. Mr. Downs Syndrome? I can't fvcking wait.
