C'mon guys, they're being progressive.

As a black guy speaking, that isn't Jimmy Olsen. It's a different character with the name Jimmy Olsen.

... apparently, that's Pullitzer prize-winning photographer James Olson, TYVM.

I actually didn't think this sucked. *shrug*

So they keep referring to superman but he never shows up to help her out or just say hello.. this is doomed to fail.

the girlie hotness leads to self attention nabbing and annoying cheating behaviors and thus I find it challenging to stomach in both television and personal relationships due to too many wounds

so no.

I found the 'super top secret' element amusing... in the first bit, they introduce themselves to her, only to tell her to shove off, next, superhero asks human if she has permission to go save some people. I'm surprised that it wasn't asked in a sarcastic tone.

Overall, pretty cringe-worthy.

It reminded me of this:

I find the character very cute the first few minutes. They should keep it that way. Give her a bit of the social misery spiderman has to endure in order to keep his identity and double life a secret while at the same time trying to stop bad guys.

LOL at lesbian coming out..

Am i the only one who finds Calista Flockhart extremely scary looking ?
Plastic surgeons must have had a field day with her.

I get the uncanny valley feeling with her.

She seems too dorky. They should have went with the characterization they did in Superman/Batman: Apocalypse. The guys who did Arrow and Flash are doing this, so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt.

I don't mind the whole Devil in Prada sort of thing, but what really made me wince was the heavy use of not-so-good CGI. Obviously, it isn't going to be as good as a movie, but with shows like The Flash (oddly enough, from the same frontrunners) doing a decent job with CGI (it still doesn't match movies, but it isn't Smallville bad), you can't put out something that bad. Just don't try to show such ridiculous shots on a shoestring budget.

Yeah. It's a mix of intriguing ideas & Syfy graphics. That opening shot was just terrible in terms of CGI. But the trailer had some funny parts like when she overshot the car chase & crashed into the fence 😀

And Marvel did Agent Carter, and I couldn't stand that past two episodes.

We are close to the end of the Comic Book Bubble. This is the kind of thing that happens when a company/idea/movement/trend is so popular for so long that all of a sudden "inclusiveness" is more important than pure economics because there is the assumption for the economics to be there.

I expect the walls to come down soon. Batman vs Superman is going to suck. Hard. That will bring down DC and its best property (batman). Then the Fantastic Four movie will be Marvel's worst movie to date which will take away their sense of invincibility.

I don't want it all to go away, I like the MCU. But eventually audiences will stop responding.

I don't think the movies will suck, but they're watering down the brand and that will lead to people getting bored of the product. It's what happened to Star Trek in the late 90's. TNG was super popular, so they made 2 spinoffs and a 3rd prequeal + had movies going in theaters at the same time. Enough already!

Fantastic Four is a Marvel property, but it is not a Marvel-made movie. Fantastic Four movie rights are currently owned by Fox. Frankly, I'm hoping the movie tanks and tanks hard. My hope is that Fox will want to sell the rights back to Marvel, which means we finally get access to characters like Silver Surfer. ...or at worst, maybe we could get a shared deal like we're seeing with Sony and Spider-Man?
