Thanks to all those who contributed! Special thanks to the guys who did all the dirty work of capturing and encoding them!

I would but I won't be home...hmm...perhaps I'll hook up an external hard drive and schedule it for recording...

I'll gladly copy and distribute it to everybody who wants it if somebody can give me the stuff.

Don't you have to get Paul Tagliabue's expressed written consent, instead of implied verbal consent?

I don't think Paul Tagliabue has any control over the commercials. If he does (somehow), who cares.

On that note, I can host for a while as well, I have 10GB of monthly transfer to waste and only 5 days left. 500MB of storage should be plenty.

I'd be interested in getting these too...unfortunately I don't have anything to record them with. What would be the best way to capture a TV broadcast like this? HDD space isn't a problem; neither is encoding to Divx. Just need to know the best way to do the original capture.

So you expect people to waste their valuable time and bandwidth capturing, encoding and mailing you all that video because you're too cheap to pop $20 for a used VCR? That's beyond pathetic. Why stop there, try begging for some kind-hearted souls to do your dishes or mow the grass because you're too lazy to do it yourself.

But since there are people in the world so spectacularly self-absorbed that they'd ask for something so frivolous and undoubtedly some so desperate to make friends that they'd actually be stupid enough to deliver, please, allow me to get my requests in now:

Do my laundry
Wash my cars
Paint my house
Trim the hedges
Give me all your money
Encode every show on TV, burn to CD and deliver to me so that I can sell my VCR
Offer me free 24 hour a day taxi service, car insurance is too expensive for me to carry my own.
Cook all my meals.

Damn it, this is America, I can't be expected to do anything for myself. GIMME GIMME GIMME!!!

So I'm thinking you're not gonna volunteer. I'm glad you spent such a long time on the response just so say, "No thanks."
