I used hotdeals newegg for the cougar cooling fans 4 for 32
I used a microsoft replacement windows ultimate 7
the pro it replaced cost 119 .
I used an amazon msi 7970 warehouse deal 300.
A dvd player for 13

total 1060 for a beastly machine

I was all mac for around 14 years after a huge problem with windows 95 I stopped using windows for a long time.

I started back with windows 7 as a bootcamp drive in a 2010 mac pro. I finally said I can't stand apple and started building windows pcs last Jan of 2012. Thanks to this site and this hot deals section . I own 10 pc's running bitcoin and I am being paid 150 a month to heat my home. I also built one for a friend . Has been a lot of fun much more fun then doing exotic mac mini upgrades.

My conclusions after 11 good builds and a few do overs (they work I just did not like the mobos for what I was trying to do)

pcs are easy to build and fun . Find this bargain section helps a lot.

I will take a break with builds till the spring but still look for and post bargains. I want a bigger msata and a mobo with true sata III support for the msata slot. Mushkin should have a 480gb msata soon.

Thanks again. phil
