2600k is unlocked for overclocking. 2600 is locked (kinda) to factory speeds.

2600/2600k have hyperthreading (4 cores / 8 threads) and 2mb more cache (8mb).

2500/2500k have 4 cores/ 4 threads /6mb cache

'K' chips have the higher built in gpu HD 3000, non K ahve the HD2000.

The 2600s looks like a low power laptop chip, slower than the 2600/2600k and a lower TDP.
