I have an asus a8v deluxe. It suddenly has become super unstable and i cant figure it out. I turn off my computer every night, but I usually don?t turn off the monitor. Recently, when I turn it on in the morning, the monitor doesn?t recieve any signal. I turn off the monitor, and turn it on again. Still nothing. I have to press the restart button. It boots up, but I get an overclocking failed message. I am not overclocking. This has happened with the overclocking setting on auto, standard, and with manual, but with no settings changed. Why is my system so unstable all of the sudden? I have used it for 4 months with no problems until now.

(not that this helps you, but..) Every blue moon i have the same thing happen to my system. Ill get no monitor signal, or get the OCing failed message.

hopefully the next final bios release will address this problem.

Have you checked your voltages since this has started happening? I'd put a digital voltage meter on the rails while the system is running and check to see if the ps is the problem.
