super thin cracks in paint

My car as long as I've owned it (bought it used, '96 Mazda 626) has hairline cracks in the paint, not big enough to see underneath, even thinner than a hair's thickness). Over the course of the life of the car, I haven't seen rust appear in any of them. I mostly only notice them after a fresh wash, where the microfiber towel sometimes loses a strand or two in one of them. Running your fingers over the paint, you can barely feel them.

They are chiefly over the hood. Is there any way to fix paint damage such as this, or is it normal for hood paint? You literally have to be about 1 foot away to even see them, they are very very thin and spread over the hood like a web almost.

Do you know if it's been re-painted.

Another thing to check for if there is any existing warranty on the paint.

Most car manufactures put 10 to lifetime warranties on the paint. But I think in your case it's been transfered.

If you look on the inside driver's door sticker it should have the paint code. If not then check the VIN.

It hasn't been repainted that I know of. When I bought the car it was only a year old. Since I'm not the original owner, I don't know if the lifetime warranty would apply.
