Hello!

Found an extic SSD (at leat in germany) from Supertalent.

Common controller, but which NAND is it?

That's SpekTek packaging. They're a division of Micron that sells the leftovers that didn't make the cut for selling under the Micron brand.


The "AR" marking means "Relaxed Spec". The PF603 marking corresponds to the full part number FBNB27A512G9KTBAFJ4. B27A means it's Micron's 96L TLC. The 512G means 512Gbit dies, and the 9 after that indicates the quality grade: at least 90% of the rated capacity actually works on these chips. There's a reason cheap drives like this almost always give you 240GB usable space rather than 250GB or 256GB. It might actually have less usable spare area than a name-brand 256GB drive.

Big Thanks to you for the explanation :)

I know some older STT-SSDs use Hynix so I´m surprised they actually use some kind of Micron
