Micron Z9 power FTW!
Sorry for the silly introduction, I'm tired and have not a single 'joke' to start this thread with :D

In this thread I will be posting info and overclocking scores & frequencies for the new DDR3-1600 7-7-7 kit from Super Talent with the Micron Z9 chips.

I will also be comparing their performance with another DDR3 kit with Qimonda 10F chips & some DDR2 kits on various mobo's ( mainly the P5K Deluxe & the Commando ).

Test platform for the DDR-3 tests is the... Asus P5K3 Deluxe of course ( luv this board! :D )

Let's begin with two totally untweaked SuperPi 32M runs ( only fresh OS, but not bench OS... + lots of hardware ), partially tweaked hardware config on the Commando + DDR2, fast setup on the DDR3 set.

Very nice. Actually I'm more amazed at the second screenshot. 4:5 is supposed to be extremely difficult to achieve on P965 when overclocking, and I guess that screenshot explains why - its performance is incredible. That's like faster than 975X, isn't it? vMCH/vDIMM?

Thanks for your comments m8 ;-)

I've got to check my notes for the Vmch/Vdimm, but I'll get back to you ASAP :)
Both screenshots performance can get even better after I tweak the internal chipset latencies, but this will have to wait a bit, gotta finish another review first :-(
