I believe you can get the same deal at the Toys R Us B&M. This is really a great deal for those of you wanting a RC toy for your kids for Christmas. The battery alone is worth 30 bucks.

I bought a Super Rebound to go with the RC Dozer last year (remember that deal?). The Super Rebound is virtually unstoppable, it'll go through grass, rocks, and even over the top of small bushes (junipers). And it's small enough to use indoors. At this price I would reccommend buying two (27mhz and 49mhz) so you can have car wars with your kids, wife, girlfriend, etc.., it's a total blast. Have fun!!

Hmm..tried to order two but on both orders the promotional code didn't go through because in the email it gave me a total without the code but on the screen right before you complete the order it had the total with the promotional code amount subtracted. Can someone please help me or tell me what is going on? Or is this just standard procedure on Amazon? Thanks! 🙂

junthin,
The easiest thing to do would be to go to a local Toys R Us and do the deal there. Do you have one nearby? If they are out, get a raincheck, that's what I had to do last year for the battery.

John P.: Do you know if ToysRus also gives the free battery and charger as a special offer or just the car for the $39.99 price? Let me know, thanks! 🙂

I have a TON of consumer grade RC vehicles, and I can tell you that
the Super Rebound is FAR AND AWAY the most fun RC vehicle for
littler kids...That's because it is, as someone else said,
virtually unstoppable. It flips over and keeps going. AND because
it uses spongy oversized tires, it is also reasonably indoor
friendly. (A lot of the RC vehicles will go hard plastic nose
first into your furniture or wall).

If you don't have a RC vehicle and you wanted to get one for some
younger (say, < 8) kids, DO NOT think for even another second
about which one to get. Get teh Super Rebound.

Oh, and make sure it's the "real" Super Rebound. Tyco also
sells a "mini" Super Rebound that sucks--it's too slow, too
underpowered, and it eats batteries too quickly. It's easy to tell
the difference: The mini runs on standard batteries. The Super
runs on a rechargable battery pack.

junthin,
Yes, the offer is in the Toys R Us Sunday ad, I have it right here in front of me. "Free TMH 7.2V battery pack and charger with the purchase of Tyco X-treme Cycle, Speed Wrench, or Super Rebound." Sale prices are good November 26 - December 2nd. Price shown for the Super Rebound is $39.99.

And like I said above, it well worth it to buy two at this price!! It does not say anywhere limit one per customer.

John P.: Thanks for the help, heading out to the local ToysRus right now, hopefully they still have them in stock. 🙂

Muwhahahahaha!!!! 😎 Went to every Toysrus in my city and they were all sold out, but at the last one I went to they had two that were covered with some stuff people didn't want in their cart. And to boot, it was one of each. Hahaha...then 2 seconds later 2 people came by asking about the car. 😀 Dang...I didn't know this was that popular. I went ahead and tried to cancel my Amazon order, but one is already "shipping soon" so I'll just return it later. 🙁 Can't wait till the packs charge...5 1/2 hours though...

If Toys R Us does not have them in stock you should be able to get a rain check for them. Make sure you have them somehow note that the battery/charger is free on the rain check. When I did this last year they were out of batteries. When they did get it in the cashier couldn't figure out to ring it up so she ended up changing the price to 1 cent to get it to work. BTW, they had plenty in stock today at the Lynnwood, WA store.
