Super Quick Question About Epox EP-8KHA+ Mobo...

Wondering which way the case connections (leds, power, reset) face when you plug em in? Also the way the usb header connects on the mobo?

Going by memory on my Chieftec the label side faces back of case towards pci slots,just remember red lead goes to pin1(as in page 3-2),as for the USB header you can use any USB header on the board (there are 3 USB headers) also remember the red lead on the USB connector goes to pin 1 on the board(page 3-9),it helps to read the manual .

There IS a manual with the board you know? Just go by black being negative and other colors (usally red) being positive and line it up with the pictures.

Yeah i got everything working now except the hdd light... wierd...

The rest switch-doesn't matter, the power switch-doesn't matter & red= + on the speaker. When it comes to the LEDs, do like most of us..............guess & correct later.

If you do not have a manual, I can scan the page that has the case connections and email it to you if you need them.

I have the manual and it is connected to the correct pins, the hdd light just isnt working for some reason...

The HDD LED can be swapped to diff locations while the PC is on without harming it. Keep trying. It goes in the middle on the long row of pins closest to the edge of the PCB.

Did you turn the connector around? Polarity does matter for the LED's

Last night i jiggled it around alot and it started working...maybe a bad connection...
