super quick help needed: know of any bios overlay software that will work with an IBM drive?

Howdy,

I have a 60 gig IBM 60gxp that i'm installing in this ancient machine that is too old to recognize more than 8 gigs it seems

I know EZ-bios will do this, but that costs money.

The WD and Maxtor software doesnt' seem to work with IBM drives

Anybody know of any other software that will overcome this limitation?

I'm trying to get this done ASAP!

rock on! i swear i couldn't find anything on ibm's website..but there you go proving me wrong!

i also found some weird seagate software...i'll try both right now

Very cool. I hope it helps. I haven't used any sort of disk overlay program since my 486 machine back in the day. I had all sorts of hell cause of it. But at least I could get a 1.2GB HDD in a machine that came with a 120MB one brand new.
