super pi hangs on scanning hardware

So I got super pi and it just hangs on the initial hardware scan. It does this on 2 out of three machines I have. What is wrong? Is there anything I can do? I am using version 1.9.

Nevermind, it worked when I ran as administrator.

That's weird. I have super PI mod and don't have to run it as admin, but my version is probably older.
