WTF he goes through one of those plant things in the second level

and he passes right through some of the flames on the last level. And did you notice how no matter what angle he jumps into the flying monsters he always ends up killing them? Some sort of invincibility cheat I'm assuming.

So all he gets is kudos for knowing where all the warps are.

Edit: and for mad jumping skillz just for not falling into a hole while going that fast.

There is also one of those swimming octopus things in the last level where there shouldn't be...

it's all staged with an emulator...it lets you save states and slow the game down to make it easier while you 'record', and then re-play it in real time.

It's no cheat... it's obviously a different version that probably has different ways of calculating hits and such.

I know that 8 minutes is entirely possible, because I've done about 13 minutes while drunk on the actual system.

I remember that "Sorry, our princess is in another castle." all too well. I called my little brother and my father to come and see my victory over the evil, evil Bowser.

"Quick! Come here! I finally beat it! I won! I won!" "Hold on, wait up. Pause it, I wanna see." (They come upstairs.) "Sorry, our princess is in another castle." "...........FSCK!"

"Peace is Paved"!?

WTF?

lol

thats not what it says? 😕

It says "PEACE IS PAVED" at the end

no imeant what does it say in the original?

Well they meant "Peach is saved!" most likely. Not sure if that's the effect of an emulator or what. But the NES version said something along the lines of "you saved the princess"

Did you read the second line? I'm pretty sure it went something like: "Peach is paved with..."
