Super intellect -- would you like to have it?

Yesterday I was riding a subway and I looked over that other guy's shoulder to see what the heck he was reading. It appeared it was a recent edition of that 'Men's Health' magazine (although I can't really imagine a man buying one). And what I noticed on the page were the results of the survey the author of the article had conducted. It asked different respondents a simple question, for what they would agree to never have any sex again in their entire remaining lifetime. About 57% of respondents reported money above $3 million, another huge chunk chose 'eternal life'. And the remaining 14% - 'super intellect'. I call... why? Why did they choose some strange super intellect?
I think it would be kind of cool to have that super mind thing. But why I started this thread is that I don't quite understand what people can actually use it for. Would someone of these 14% pls respond???

though eternal life would be tempting as well b/c there is so much time for you to ponder things out but what if you get tired of it all?! that would suck

well eternal life would be just about the stupidest (yes i said stupidest) thing someone could do to themselves. and super intellect would give them about the same result, wishing they could just die. personally i'd go for unlimited pizza for life. that or wishing that ducks could talk. priorities people.

I probably would choose super intellect too. Sex is great, but it's not everything. With a super intellect, i could accomplish stuff... there's a great feeling from living a fullfilling life doing somethign meaningful.

I would love to have a superior intellect, but wouldn't really want to give up the possibility of ever having sex for it.

Of course, I'm such a geek that I'm probably never going to get laid anyway, so what difference would it make?

i'm not one of those 14%, but i think the first thing to do with the super intellect is to find a way out of the non-sex-thing. after that you go for the money (no prob with subba-intellect) and after that you go for the eternal-life problem, that isn't much of a problem with money, sex and subba-intellect. so the real dumb are the ones going for the money and the ones going for eternal life.... that's why

Superior intellect is like having sex all the time. The problem is when you are around idiots, it feels like you are getting raped. However, if you just stay around other intellects, it's as good as the real thing.

I agree. Talking about quantum physics and the like with my fellow geniuses is magnitudes better than having mind-blowing sex...
