Hi everyone,

I did this deal today and i wish everyone can take advantage on this deal too!

Here's the story, I went to Staples today to make some copies, i went through the Tech section and there was a guy asking the salesman how much is the LCD mon. The saleman said it was $299 , but its now on clearance for $150. i assume every clearance item is 50% off their orginal price. i was shocked when i heard what the salesman said to that guy and i came over to the saleman and ask him if he had more in stock, he said YES and i immediately told him to hold one up for me. ( i could've brought it right away but im too greedy that i went back to my office to print a $20 staples coupon ) . So go check your Staples NOw, they might clear this baby out nation wide!!!!! you can use $30 coupn and bring it down to 120 + tax GOOD LUCK!

P.S. The LCD looks great for $130 !!!!!! im using it now :)

I think this is for the NEC 1530V which to the best of my knowledge, Staples has replaced with the 1545V. I've been to 4 Staples in search of this deal but to no avail. :(

wow....... i just picked up a couple 15" philips for $260 from staples... this kills that deal :-\

i might have to bring one of these back and get a NEC instead, although the specs arent as good

I went to Staples to check it out but they have only one that is NEC 15" for display for $299.95 no 50% off like he say. Scan Receipe please and SKU #. To Prove it. Which Staple did you buy it from.

i've already called most of the stores in PHX, but all they had was the philips model( in already clearance price) for $299. thanks.

Staples told me they had the 15" NEC on clearance a while ago but no longer. It was worth a try. Thanks.

i went to staples in torrance, ca. the employee told me some guy bought every one from ventura to san diego last week. so good luck finding one in socal.

I think netsfan was at a staples with a managers discretion clearance. Not to be found elsewhere.

This story sounds really fishy. For one, why would a customer ask a sales person for the price? I mean, all the prices are listed clearly in front of the monitors.

TWO. Why would he go make copies at staples when he works in a office? Isn't normal for an office to have a copier machine somewhere?
