I just came back from Home Expo Westbury, NY, since I seem to spend half my life in either Staples or Expo. I was told by several employees that RIVO kitchen faucets Rivo Site WILL go on sale next Saturday and Sunday (April 19 to 20, 2003) for essentially ½ price. I don?t know if it is nationwide, but maybe others interested can check and we can keep the thread updated with current information.

So I went home and picked up my 10% off Lowes coupon, since they will pricematch competitors) and headed back to purchase 2 Revo?s SKU 134-962 for the current price of $199. I triple checked with service desk employees that I will be able to return/repurchase during the sale period next week.

So??.:
$199.00
$199.00
$ -39.80 ? 10% Lowes Discount
------------
$358.20
$30.45 -- NY Tax
------------
$388.65 -- Total (Before ½ off sale)

Next week:
$99.50
$99.50
-$29.85 ? 10% Lowes Discount
------------
$169.15
$14.38 -- NY Tax
------------
$183.53 Total (After returning for next weeks sale)

Note: I have been looking long and hard for good quality faucets for quite a while. And, these are the best quality I have been able to find to replace the ugly contractor faucets we currently have.

Good Luck!:)

It's nice to see some variety at the HD forums. I have to say that I am sick tired of the usual Delta, Kohler and whatever else 90% of homes in the US have for faucets. The 134-962 is the nicest on that page and is very nice. Definitely a good deal to get away from the typical plasticky faucets we normally have to put up with.

Hey All,
I am happy to help... I have gotten so many Great deals from this site also..
We have been waiting for a good price on faucets for a long time. It seems that these items NEVER go on sale. SO when I saw this I jumped on it.
As far as I know, the brand is only carried by Expo. Rivo is the "designer" line of Glacier Bay.
Glacier Bay is the Home Depot Brand line of faucets. I have used the Glacier Bay faucets on several ocasions and can tell you this about them:
a. -- They are reasonably priced versions of the other name brands such as Delta, Am Standard, etc..
b. -- The Main differences between the Good vs Bad faucets are the Bodies and Finish quality. The only other item that separates prices is Styling.
c. -- The Ones that I have purchased in the past have been the less expensive models and work perfectly this far. The only items of minor issues have been the finish, but that was expected on the very low end of the range faucets.

The Rivo Faucets are all Brass bodies and very nice finishes that should stand up to a gret deal of abuse over a long period of time. And the styling is pleasing, at least to us.

I don't know who physically manufactures these for HD/Expo but I will try and find out tomorrow.

I hope this helps,
SpeedyG :D

P.S. -- The 10% Coupon was received in the mail from Lowes, I signed up as a new home owner on their site.

OK Folks, it is CONFIRMED!

I just came back from HomeExpo and they adjusted the price down to $99 from $199 and also included the 10% discount.

Also, I found out some more information on this faucet:

The Manufacturer: Paini
Warranty: After speaking to the representative from Rivo she explained the ?limited lifetime warranty?. She defined it as Lifetime on any leaks that may occur on the faucet. One year on finishes other than chrome. The chrome finish is warranted for life. I unfortunately bought the brushed nickel that is not lifetime. But after looking at it I still like it better than the chrome, so I will stay with the decision. Also, any replacement parts will be requested from the RIVO distributors.

Now, it?s time to install them both!

By the way -- They had plenty of them left. BUT, they were NOY marked with the discounts. They only rang up at the register as $99. And the clerk could not believe it. So, if you don't see the signs just ask!!!
