Still not worth it, $35 a month at the YMCA is much better imo.

Would take 30 years to break even.

Normally people that have home gyms also hit a full gym.

At this price it's a helluva deal.

I've used this unit, it's different than lifting weights or using cable machines in that the resistance is non linear. It could be fun to have around the house at that price.....

I probably still wouldn't pay $1000 for it (though this is a hot deal for the price - not trying to thread crap), but we picked up one of their older / smaller models used from someone for around $300. At that price, it's well worth it.

A gym membership is great, but I find it a lot easier to convince myself to hit the Bowflex and free weights in the basement for an hour than to drive 20 minutes to the gym, work out for an hour, and drive 20 minutes back. Bad weather also isn't an excuse not to work out that way. :)
