Techdepot still has the Netgear CF WiFi Card, it is in stock now. $40 after rebate. I got mine a few days ago, works perfectly. The range is SUPERB! Don't treat all wireless cards equally. My friend got the card that came with his Axim and my Netgear doubles its range. Enjoy!

BTW - does anyone have a vpn client that is known to with with a Bluesocket box? I'm going to try AdmitOne, any other ideas?

Isn't it probably best to buy the same manufacturer as your wireless router/hub?

I thought that until I bought a D-Link WiFi card that seems to operate better then my Netgear. Its a Netgear Wireless Router as well. Just the steps to get the D-Link to work took an extra few minutes but other than that, the signal quality is stronger...

Well, I'm filling in my rebate about now. I haven't tried the Wifi card yet, cuz I don't have an access point yet. Instead, I bought it so I could be ok with any PDA with CF later on.

About future use, on the package, it says that there will be future support for CE 4. In terms of backwards compatibility, the device will work on Casio BE-300's, other CE 3 devices (Pocket PC/2002), and CE 2.11.

I'd stay away from this product and the rebate. I too bought it from CompUSA. The drivers suck and I'm STILL waiting on my $20 rebate. And I sent if off in early AUGUST of last year. The rebate goes through New Rochelle which really isn't a problem for me. I've had about 7 rebates go through and get redemed from New Rochelle (TCA) but STILL haven't gotten back the Abicom rebate yet.

I've called twice to check on it and they keep saying that the manufacturer has "extended" the rebate period.
