Still waiting on my check. This deal will have worked out nice for me as I had to RMA the 40 gb drive and Maxtor sent a new 60 gb 7200 rpm drive to replace it.

I got my express group rebate which mailed early October about two weeks later but still have not seen my RebatesHQ.com rebate, nor has the status on the website changed. It was received 9/4 and status says "Approved.. will mail in 30 days". Other rebates change to "Mailed... should receive within 10 to 14 days. I had a $20 rebate from HQ that I got approx two weeks after submitting online and mailing paperwork (only went about 100 miles - West Palm Beach to Miami, FL). I also have a 2 other rebates from them that are from a little later on that both show approved and I am waiting, waiting. Anyone have an email or phone # (didn't see any contact info on web) to checkup on my original maxtor rebate??

I received my expressgroup rebate awhile ago, and a couple of days ago my Rebateshq status changed to fulfilling with a check number. Don't lose hope guys...

Got my rebatesHQ.com rebate yesterday, so deal is complete for me, got both rebates, paid 78 - 30 - 30 = $18 for my 40 gb hdd

Ditto. This only beats the $40 AR deal at Sams Club for a 20GB 7200 ATA66 drive 2 years ago.

Got my last $30 Rebate check yesterday! I got mine at the B&M on the last day with a $15 off coupon. So for me total cost was: $80.80 -$30 -$30 = $20.80! not bad at all for a 40gb 7200 rpm drive!

hm, the web site says mine was mailed on 10/5, and this is a case where i've goofed and may have received it without checking it off the list, though i'm not sure....doh! but if yours was supposedly mailed around the same time and you didn't receive yours, perhaps i didn't receive mine (lots of rebate checks coming in -- every once in awhile i get disorganized)

Got both of mine, the RebatesHQ one came on Saturday. So the total for the drive ended up being $14.54 for a 40GB Maxtor HDD. :Q

Received my second rebate (Maxtor/RebatesHQ) Saturday as well. I picked mine up in the Portland area (was on the west coast with field research), so my end cost was $9.99 ($69.99 - $30.00 - $30.00)!!! Would be nice living in one of the no-state-sales-tax states!

I got my Maxtor rebate but never got a confirmation that my Express Group Rebate was recieved. So I faxed them my copies but still heard nothing so I went down to the local store and the manager refunded me $30. Now last week I recieved the rebate from Express Group. Then today I recieve an email saying my rebate was accepted and being processed. I go to the website and it shows one rebate mailed a couple weeks ago and another being processed. I have yet to cash the additional check and probably won't but it sure seems that their processing systems are out of whack. Anybody else have the same experience.
