Super DLT or any type of backup storage

I hate doing backup, currently using DLT @ 20/40 Gigs.. one week of corporate data fills a few carts..

I'm looking into Super DLT, 110GB/220GB would be worth while but can this write to the old tape at 20/40 GB or not ?
