Super Clock vid card playing with a non

Have a EVGA GTX460, 1024, 336 cores. Was looking at Anands' graphs awhile back, and it seems I could get quite a performance boost, (fps) if I were to go SLI(?) There's a good deal at Micro-center, BUT it's for the super clocked version. Is there any reason why the two would NOT play nicely together?
