Oh, so that explains why you cry about the Steelers so much

What the hell are you talking about, the patriots have owned the steelers for the past few years :D

If it wasn't for the refs, you guys wouldn't have won SB 40 ;)
Just to play Devils Advocate:

If it wasn't for the "tuck" rule, the Patriots wouldn't have won SB 36 ;)

I'm not a Seahawks fan by any means, and I think they got squeezed. Not saying it was intentional, but some big calls went the wrong way.

1) http://www.lunaranomalies.com/XL-officiating.htm

2) Many sports' analysts (even those who aren't Seahawk fans) believe they got cheated.

3) The NFL couldn't even fine Holmgren for saying the team had to play against the guys in the stripes because.

4) No team has ever, in the history of the NFL, ever won QB passer rating, time of possession, total yards gained, and total first downs made and lost a game. Where's the X factor in that?

5) Who knows who would have won the game had it been called fairly. All I can say is that when my team has won a game that was called unfairly against the opponent, I've felt bad and it didn't seem like my team deserved it. I don't know how Steeler's fans are feeling the same way.

ok, we get it, the Seahawks and their fans are a bunch of whiney cry-babies who are still blaming the officials over their inability to win the game. It's a new season baby, how bout leaving the past in the past and show me something new?

btw, all in jest, much respect for the hawks and their fans who are top class (at least on the Panthers forum I visit occasionally). My Panthers lost our game to you guys fair and square and I was glad to have the hawks represent the NFC last year. But like I said, it's time to show us what the Hawks are made of this year.

All of the Steelers' touchdowns were deserved. Even if that one penalty where Jackson (?) got flagged for offensive pass interference were not called, the score would still be in the Steelers favor. Any way you swing it, there is no doubt who won the game.

You gotta also remember... the Steelers were screwed when Polamalu's interception and subsequent fumble + recovery was overturned as an incomplete pass and almost cost them the game against the Colts. And back in 03 versus the Patriots in the Conference championship-- final seconds, Viniateri misses the field goal to win the game, falls down, refs see it as roughing the kicker... Steelers get screwed. I think they have had their fair share of ref screwings in the past. :p

What does that have to do with giving a Pats fan a hard time? :D

While i love them damn frickin Pats (grrr SB XXXVIII), I think the fins are gonna put up a fight this year. It'll be easy against the Bills and Jets though.
Easy?
Bills are going to be the surprise AFC East team this year. Dolphins and Bills will split games. I will put money on this.

T.O. is going to destroy Dallas from the inside like he did with SF and Philly... I would lay money on it.

Well, i picked the Steelers before the season last year. I picked the Colts this time around. Peyton Manning has gotta win sooner or later right? New England always has a good chance, and Cinci will be real good if Palmer can stay healthy.

While I know it was preseason (and the first one at that), the Bills looked awful and I don't see it getting any better. But you know how preseason and the NFL in particular are. The team that you don't expect to do anything, ends up kicking your ass in the final game of the regular season denying you entry into the playoffs. I still don't think the Bills are going to get to the playoff's themselves though.

The Bills.. oh my...
Bills just announced Losman as starting quarterback.. Good luck on that one..

Bills will finish 3rd in their division.. Why they will finish third?: They have more playmakers than the Jets -- barely.

First question should be, "who's your favorite team?" as evidenced by the fact that there are votes for the Vikings, Cardinals, and Raiders.
