anyone know why they did this? It kinda makes it not worth it since premium at exxon is 92 octane.

Think that is bad.
Where I am now Premium is 91 Plus is 87 and regular is 83 octane at all stations while paying same price for 83 octane that rest of the Country is getting 85 Octane.
I thought octane was standard??? Van runs like crap on this junk.

No idea, but I've never seen 92 octane in NJ. The 3 standard grades at every station I've gone to are 87, 89 and 93

I drive a volvo, I just need premium, but since I;ve ben doing a lot of driving lately I've been tracking mileage. I'm getting on 23.6mpg highway on 93. I'll test out 92 next week.
